Hands-On Pork Butchery Class with Jamie Waldron @ GL Heritage Brewery

Locally-raised Butcher, Jamie Waldron, is coming back to GL Heritage Brewery to teach more interactive butchery classes!!
Our previous hands-on pork butchery classes were such a success, we are excited to bring Jamie – butcher, educator and author – back for another session on Saturday, February 1st from 12-3pm.
Come explore and breakdown an entire locally-sourced and responsibly-raised pig. In this class, you’re the butcher in a hands-on, guided experience with explanation of the various meat cuts and ways to prepare them.
Each participant takes home 20-25lb of pork, wrapped and labeled for identification – all done by you. This interactive and fun instruction will take place at GL Heritage brewery and it includes a taster flight or your choice of a glass of GL Heritage craft beer afterward. All meat and supplies will be provided for you to breakdown, package and label your pork.
Tickets are $180 per person and there are only 12 spots per class available. Makes a fantastic, unique gift or take advantage of the opportunity to restock your own freezer with local, fresh pork – especially in time for Super Bowl!
