Locally-raised Butcher, Jamie Waldron, is coming back to GL Heritage to teach more classes!!
Our April pork butchery class at the brewery was such a success, we are excited to bring Jamie – butcher, educator and author – back for two more sessions on Saturday, July 7th. Choose either a 10am-1pm session or a 1:30-4:30pm session. Come explore and butcher an entire locally-sourced and responsibly-raised pig. In this class, you’re the butcher in a hands-on, guided experience with explanation on the various cuts of meat.
Each participant takes home 20-25lb of pork, wrapped and labeled for identification – all done by the participants. The 3 hour instruction will take place on site at GL Heritage brewery and it includes a taster flight or your choice of craft beer glass afterward. All supplies will be provided for you to butcher and package the meat.
Tickets are $180 per person and there are only 8 spots per session. Makes a fantastic Fathers Day gift!!
